Benefits of Using the Library

The Library routinely orders publications, answers questions, circulates books and other materials, and provides electronic resources for your independent use. However, had you considered that the library and its staff offer much more than just these services?

Let a librarian / information specialist do a comprehensive literature search for you. Some of the electronic databases are very particular about how it wants search terms entered and structured. Staff have expertise with the "features" of the various search engines. Some questions are very hard to answer and may require a password to higher-level databases to get better results.

Save time by relying on our staff and its years of experience. The Library staff has specific skills to retrieve hard-to-find information in its collections or on the Web.

Save money because there is no charge for our services. There are no charges for interlibrary loans, copy machines or literature searches.

Get expert instruction on how to do it yourself. A quick session with a librarian / information specialist can get you started on your project that much sooner. Our most common question asked: Where do I start? We can help.
